- Rymic announces real-time charting for its
rymicNET family of Internet
enabled data acquisition and control products. Expanding on the
capabilities of the rymicNET GUI, users can chart data from any of the
system's configured variables. Data collected from sensors, Modbus devices,
wireless sensors, and calculated values can be charted by simply selecting the
variable name from a dropdown menu. Real-time charting allows users to
trend data beyond the single readings provided on the Summary page and the
dynamically adjustable XY axes allow users to trend values over a variety
of horizontal and vertical scales.
- Rymic announces database reporting for its
rymicNET family of Internet enabled
data acquisition and control products. Database reporting expands on
rymicNET's extensive reporting capabilities, which includes XML, CSV,
and custom reports. Using the rymicNET GUI, users can configure the database
mapping for any rymicNET data. The system is compatible with most standard
databases including MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, PostgreSQL. This
features extends rymicNET's ease of integration with upstream and enterprise
applications.
- Rymic announces high-powered 802.11b communications (WiFi) support for its
rymicNET family of Internet enabled
data acquisition and control products. Rymic has added support for the
EnGenius line of high-powered 802.11b products, which allows Wireless
Ethernet over significantly longer distances than traditional WiFi products.
With 100 to 200mW of power and 11Mbps operation, the EnGenius WiFi PC Cards
offer a wide operating range without sacrificing network speed.

- Rymic announces GSM/GPRS communications support for its
rymicNET family of Internet enabled
data acquisition and control products. Rymic extends its M2M capabilities
by adding the Sierra Wireless AirCard 750 to the list of supported cellular
modems. Rymic is currently delivering GPRS services over the AT&T Wireless
data network, which provides customers with deployment options in addition
to CDMA/1xrtt.
- Rymic expands its
rymicNET
feature set by adding RTD sensor support for
temperature measurements and digital pulse counter inputs for metering devices
such as flow sensors, pressure sensors, and electric meters.
- Rymic expands its product offering by launching
five new models of
its rymicNET family of
Internet-enabled data acquisition and control products.
- Rymic adds M2M support by utilizing the
Sierra Wireless Aircard 555 with Verizon Wireless' Express Network
to offer CDMA2000 1xrtt wireless connectivity for its
rymicNET family
of products.
